Asbel Ramos is a sophomore communication major at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. In addition to reporting for The Mesquite, she serves part-time as a Student Pastor at El Salvador Church, where she is actively involved in the lives of young people through mentoring relationships and continues developing young leaders. Asbel enjoys reading, the outdoors, thrift shopping, traveling and quality time with family. She plans on expanding her skills as a communicator while at TAMUSA and aspires to be a voice for the unheard, unseen and unknown.
