Kassandra Gomez, born and raised in Laredo, is a transfer student from Texas A&M International University in Laredo. She is a senior and earned an associate degree from Laredo Community College. In her free time, she enjoys going back home to visit her family and friends. She plans on continuing her education by earning a master’s in higher education administration to work with colleges and universities. Her goal is to help high school kids pursue a higher education degree and bring up the first-generation rate of graduation.
