Marisela Garcia
Marisela Garcia joined The Mesquite for a five-week summer term to report on diabetes and obesity for The Mesquite’s summer issue on health care and family wellness. An English major and communications minor, she will earn her bachelor’s at the end of summer 2012 and plans on returning to school to earn a teaching certification to teach high school. Marisela is a 2004 South San Antonio High School graduate and transferred to A&M-San Antonio from Palo Alto College. She is the mother of an 8-year-old son.
