The popular television show America’s Got Talent will hold open call auditions for contestants 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 29  at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at 200 E. Market Street.

San Antonio is the seventh of 12 cities the talent search is visiting to seek out the next big act.

Producers will tour a limited amount of cities, searching for individuals of all ages who can showcase their talents within a 90-second audition in hopes of catching their next star.

If one or more South Texans make the cut, watch for them on America’s Got Talent tenth season.

America’s Got Talent, NBC’s popular television talent show, features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers who compete for the top prize of $1 million dollars, and a chance at national recognition.

Those interested in auditioning can pre-register online. Can’t make the open call? Visit AmericasGotTalentAuditions.com

All people in attendance must show a photo ID or a student ID. Spectators are welcome to join the fun to encourage family members and friends throughout the America’s Got Talent: Season 10 auditions.
