KLRN will present a screening and discussion panel tomorrow on the documentary “Latino Americans” by John Valadez, Latino Americans producer.
The documentary portrays how Latinos, the largest minority group in the U.S., have played a vital role forming the country.
The event, free and open to the public, will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in KLRN’s Robert L.B. Tobin Studio at 501 Broadway st.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Elaine Ayala, Express-News reporter and Conexión columnist.
The panelists include: Valadez, Arturo Madrid, Trinity University professor and Sen. Leticia Van de Putte.
The six-hour television series will air at 7p.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 17, 24 and Oct. 1 on KLRN.
