Lights of Esperanza

Students across campus are gearing up for the holiday season, celebrating the end of the semester with the Christmas Decorating Contest. Earlier today, members of the Mexican American Student Association, painted windows to celebrate Christmas and bring pride to A&M University-San Antonio.

In addition, Main Campus will transform into a holiday wonderland Nov. 29. for the annual Lights of Esperanza event.

The event is free and open to the public offering attractions for all ages including an ice skating rink, a snow playground and a human snow globe.

In addition to the snow festivities, the university bookstore will be open until 8:30 p.m., giving visitors a warm place to enjoy their refreshments and shop for souvenirs and gifts.

The Lights of Esperanza event Facebook page has been shared more than 200 times and currently has an RSVP count of 320 people.
