The 2016 Presidential campaign features two of the most disliked candidates in history, resulting in a palpable feel of unease and disappointment as we grow closer towards election day. With such divisive split among voters, we spoke to students to find out whether and how they plan to vote.
In the last year, the presidential election has saturated news coverage. In this project, The Mesquite examines the 2016 election through the lens of university students. For many students, 2016 will forever be remembered as a watershed moment; not only is it their first year in college, but it also presents their first opportunity to express their voices through their vote.
