VIA to offer Fiesta services

Anyone interested in attending Fiesta, but not looking forward to the traffic and hectic parking conditions should look into taking the bus.

Prices for VIA:

Full fare is $2.50 ($5.00 round trip) and half fare is $1.25 ($2.50 round trip). VIATrans patrons and PCAs are free.

VIA Metropolitan Transit will be offering special services to the following Fiesta events:

Downtown Streets
April 23: Bus service starts at 4 p.m. Last bus leaves downtown at 11 p.m.
Drop off and pickup: Convention Way Drive (use Blossom, Randolph and Madla Park and Ride) Market Street in front of the Convention Center (use Crossroads Park and Ride)

Fiesta Carnival

April 18 through April 29

People going to the Fiesta Carnival should consider riding VIA. While Park & Ride is not available directly to the Carnival, the Yellow Streetcar will stop at the Alamodome for Carnival patrons.
